Varsha Nair was born in Kampala, Uganda, and studied at Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayaji Rao University, Baroda, India. Inviting multidisciplinary collaborations her work encompasses various approaches and genres including making, writing, and organising projects. Since 2011 she has been collaborating with Lena Eriksson in a long-term project titled Monday2Monday.
Nair has lived in Bangkok since 1995, and is co organizer of Womanifesto – an international art exchange, Thailand. In 2006 she was invited as Editorial board member of the web art journal Ctrl+P Journal of Contemporary Art.
