Sabine Gebhardt Fink

Sabine Gebhardt Fink studied Art History, Philosophy, German Literature and Theatre Studies at the Universities of Munich and Basel (PhD-Thesis Transformation of Action, published Vienna 2003). After a post-doctrate position at the Institute for Cultural Studies in the Arts, 2004-2008, and a lectureship in Art History at the Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany, 2009-2011, she received a professorship in Fine Arts at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2011. Since 2012 she is the director of the Master of Arts in Fine Arts Program at HSLU- D&K.
Her research fields – projects granted by the SNF and other Foundations – are: The Situated Body, Perform Space, Intermedia Conditions/Concrete Poetry, Exhibition Displays, Hermann Obrist & Art in the Public Space, Camp#1.4 – artistic research and educational settings (in collaboration with Kunstmuseum Lucerne) and Performance Chronicle Basel (2009 until today).
Co-Curator of „Studiolog“ together with Lena Eriksson, Vera Leisibach and Varsha Nair – a web-based artistic mediation project.
