*1992, originally from a small town on the outskirts of Zurich, Switzerland is currently living in Lucerne. She is in pursuit of her Masters in Fine Arts and Art Education at the Hochschule Luzern Design + Kunst and will be graduating this summer.
Currently, she explores drawing, as a method of observation and documentation. Her exploration mostly takes place in Stansstad, where she observes daily community life. But, she has also begun applying this practice to other community projects, such as the Studiolog at HSLU. She chooses to compile her drawings in form of a blog (Stansstad.jolandaepprecht.ch / studiolog.jolandaeppracht.ch), where her audience is then able and encouraged to make comments and engage with her documentation.
After graduation, Jolanda hopes to teach high-school art and continue filling sketchbooks with drawings, paintings, and text.
